Defence Service Homes Insurance benefit for DHOAS-eligible members
Eligible Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and veterans, including Reservists and Peacekeepers, are able to access competitively priced home insurance through Defence Service Homes (DSH) Insurance as an additional benefit. Members do not have to hold a DHOAS subsidy certificate or home loan to purchase the insurance cover, they only need to have served at least one day of service, regardless of their type of service.
